Trans and Non-Binary Drug and Alcohol Peer Support Service

Drop-in Groups

TransSober currently offers 3 peer-support groups per week: 2 in-person (Brighton) and 1 online, accessible to all regardless of where you live.

These are volunteer-led groups facilitated by volunteers from the trans and non-binary community, all of whom have a range of lived-experience of drug and/ or alcohol use and its associated problems, but are now living drug and alcohol-free.

Drop-in Group details

Every Monday: 6.00 – 7.30pm
at the Ledward Centre, 14a Jubilee St, Brighton BN1 1GE

ONLINE: Every Thursday: 6.00 – 7.30pm
Email us at info@transsober.org for access details

The purpose of the group is to provide an informal, face-to -face weekly support opportunity that attendees can build into their routine: a place where trans and non-binary people can come together in a safe, non-judgmental space.

We support each other through sharing experiences of all aspects of life, whether that be directly around your drug and/or alcohol use, or simply everyday life.

This is a drop-in, so people can come and go as they please. Some people choose to share, whilst others prefer just to listen. We have a range of fidget toys and ear-defenders to assist with any sensory needs.
